My client is a rapidly growing consumer brand at the forefront of innovation in delivering exceptional products and services. They have recently recieved PE status and need someone to take them on the journey from a well know SME to a well-established global organisation. As they continue to expand, they are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Head of Corporate Communications to join the team.



Job Description:

Role Overview: As the Head of Corporate Communications, you will play a crucial role in shaping and communicating the brand narrative during its transition. You will manage various stakeholder relationships, including those with private equity investors, and support the company through its transformation into a more corporate structure. You will embar into new markets, embed processes and systems to ensure a smooth transition that will have a positive impact and growth and revenue.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Communications: Develop and execute a comprehensive corporate communications strategy that aligns with the brand vision and corporate objectives.
  • Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including private equity investors, board members, and senior management.
  • Brand Transition: Lead communication efforts during the transition from a scale-up to a corporate organisation, ensuring consistent and cohesive messaging across all channels.
  • Media Relations: Oversee media relations, including press releases, media inquiries, and public statements, to enhance the company’s public image and reputation.
  • Internal Communications: Foster a positive and transparent internal communications culture, keeping employees informed and engaged during the transition.
  • Crisis Management: Develop and implement crisis communication plans to protect the company’s reputation and manage any potential issues proactively.
  • Content Creation: Oversee the creation of high-quality content for various communication platforms, including the company website, social media, and investor communications.
  • Performance Measurement: Establish KPIs to measure the effectiveness of communication strategies and campaigns, providing regular reports to senior management.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in consumer brand- corporate communications, with a track record of success in managing stakeholder relationships and handling private equity investors.
  • Proven experience in supporting brand transitions, particularly from scale-up to corporate environments.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling messages for diverse audiences.
  • Strong media relations skills and experience managing press inquiries and public statements.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement effective crisis communication plans.
  • Leadership experience, with the ability to inspire and manage a team.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to measure and report on the effectiveness of communication strategies.
