We are seeking a skilled and proactive Field Engineer to join my client, a market leader in the entertainment industry. As a Field Engineer, you will play a critical role in the installation, relocation, and maintenance of various electronic and IT equipment across our UK venues.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the seamless installation and management of data cabling to support our network infrastructure (ideally Cat6a knowledge).
  • Set up and maintain IT equipment within communication rooms, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
  • Efficiently handle the setup and relocation of various electronic machines, ensuring minimal downtime and disruption.
  • Install and relocate electronic signage to enhance customer engagement and communication within our venues.
  • Deploy and manage audio-visual equipment to deliver exceptional entertainment experiences.
  • Manage the setup and relocation of non-electronic equipment, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.


Requirements:

  • Proven experience in IT infrastructure installation and maintenance.
  • Strong knowledge of data cabling and network infrastructure.
  • Familiarity with AV equipment and electronic signage installation.
  • Experience with the setup and relocation of electronic and non-electronic equipment is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong organisational and time management abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a dynamic team.
  • Willingness to travel and work flexible hours as required.
