Looking For A New Opportunity

Our Client based in the West Sussex area is looking for a Sterile Areas Officer to work within it's busy team helping to ensure a safe, clean and tidy environment by enforcing the Client's policy in respect of storage of items, in communal areas of domestic properties. This will include identifying and resolving maintenance issues in blocks and the wider estate, as well as providing a cleaning and clearance service to the bin areas, weed spraying and keeping clear drying areas of these buildings.
Your new role
Daily duties will include:
Undertaking a programme of inspections of communal areas to identify property left in breach of the Client's Homes policy.
Dealing with complaints concerning the enforcement of the sterile areas policy and related issues and resolving to satisfactory conclusion.
Working closely with "In house" teams such as Tenancy Services and Legal Services to ensure enforcement action is appropriate and in line with Legislation.
Keeping accurate records of all correspondence and management actions taken in respect of property, people and maintenance following a site visit.
What you'll need to succeed
A full driving licence to enable you to visit sites is essential, along with an understanding of general building defects and estate maintenance,
Experience of a track record of methodical working practices in record keeping, reporting, correspondence management, and carrying out actions following site visits is also as advantageous, as is effective ICT skills and experience of using handheld devises (tablet) to accurately record and manage data captured on site.
What you'll get in return
Initially a 3/4 month contract, the role offers competitive hourly rates with the possibility of a further contract extension.
