Aquent is helping our entertainment and media client find an experienced Creative Artworker to join their talent pool. You'll be a Creative Artworker and all-round Graphic Designer from a solid production background, someone who is used to working in a busy and demanding creative environment but puts creativity and attention to detail at the top of their list.


You will need to be a great team communicator working directly with creatives and producers, whilst mentoring, encouraging and supporting the rest of the studio team. Your role will be to directly enhance the creative output of our client's busy studio. You will be working on a wide selection of branded content, ensuring all deliverables are accurately prepared for print, press, outdoor and digital for their entertainment and sports channels. The work will need an element of creativity and involve retouching, reworking or fixing the design, customising typography, colour balancing, resizing documents and eliminating any inconsistencies. You'll have a great eye for detail and will be able to spot potential problems with designs across a range of formats. You'll be involved in the project from start to finish and will work closely with both the creative team as well as artwork to ensure that everything meets the needs of the brief and any brand guidelines.


You will be onboarded onto our client’s talent pool for 9 months within which you can be booked for ad-hoc bookings. Our client operates on a hybrid model where you will be required to work from their West London campus 2 days a week, on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. The role offers an Umbrella rate of £295 - £304 per day which will have to be through an FSCA Umbrella company from our PSL.


Day-to-day responsibilities:

  • Work closely with and support the creative team to follow designs and artwork from their conception to final sign-off and then into production
  • Adapt existing designs to suit a wide range of alternative layouts and formats
  • Work to tight deadlines in a busy creative environment
  • Cover the design of print and digital campaigns including creating key art for our programmes
  • A keen eye for design & layout is a must and the ability to follow brand guidelines is essential
  • Execute creative briefs, ensuring timely delivery and flexibility to business needs, while maintaining high creative standards within corporate guidelines for internal and external stakeholders
  • Create fast and accurate re-sizes/re-versions/multiples of existing artwork
  • You will need to produce elegant, accurate and legible typography at all times; ensuring type complements the imagery required
  • Be able to handle numerous briefs and requests, all with varying degrees of priority and deadline constraints; must be unflappable and able to multi-task


Minimum requirements:

  • Proven experience in a similar role
  • A solid understanding of interpreting brand guidelines
  • Excellent communication skills to work closely with creatives, designers and stakeholders
  • Experience in creating and artworking both print & digital assets
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Extensive Adobe Creative Suite experience
  • Experience of working on large-scale projects with busy schedules
  • You will have reasonable knowledge of print techniques and be mindful of budget restrictions, environmental issues and print lead times
  • Additional knowledge of After Effects and Cinema 4D would be beneficial but not essential
  • Have an excellent design portfolio that showcases your skills in creating exceptional print design, conceptual thinking and creative execution
  • Have creative flair, be well organised, self-motivated, keen and have meticulous attention to detail
