Role Overview:

As a Social Media and Digital Content Specialist, you will be responsible for crafting, executing, and overseeing our social media strategy, producing engaging content, and managing email marketing campaigns. Key Responsibilities:

Social Media Management:

  • Develop and execute our social media strategy.
  • Create, curate, and schedule compelling content for various platforms (e.g., Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn).
  • Monitor social media accounts, engage with followers, and respond to comments and messages in a timely manner.
  • Analyse social media performance metrics, generate reports, and recommend improvements.


Content Creation:

  • Produce captivating and creative content for social media posts, blog articles, and other digital channels.
  • Work alongside the design team to develop visually appealing graphics, videos, and multimedia content.
  • Ensure all content is consistent with our brand voice and messaging.


Email Marketing:

  • Design and implement email marketing campaigns, including newsletters, promotional emails, and automated sequences.
  • Manage and segment email lists to enhance targeted communication.
  • Analyse email campaign performance and propose data-driven enhancements.


Collaboration and Coordination:

  • Collaborate closely with the marketing team to align social media, content, and email marketing efforts with overall marketing strategies.
  • Stay informed about digital marketing trends and best practices, sharing insights with the team.


Qualifications:

  • 2-3 years of experience in social media management, content creation, and email marketing.
  • Strong knowledge of social media platforms, trends, and best practices.
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) or Canva.
  • Experience with email marketing platforms like Mailchimp, Constant Contact, or similar.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects and manage time effectively.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with social media advertising.
  • Knowledge of SEO best practices.
  • Familiarity with website content management systems (CMS) like WordPress.
