Job Description:


Are you a driven Site Agent looking to take the next step into a Project Manager role? This is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading main contractor specializing in earthworks within the civil engineering sector, delivering large-scale projects such as highways, infrastructure, and groundworks.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Oversee the delivery of earthworks projects from inception to completion, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and to budget.
  • Plan, manage, and coordinate all aspects of the project lifecycle, including resource allocation, health and safety, and subcontractor management.
  • Maintain strong client relationships, ensuring their requirements are met and expectations exceeded.
  • Lead and mentor site teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.
  • Monitor project progress, report on key milestones, and address potential risks or delays proactively.
  • Collaborate with senior management to align project delivery with company goals and standards.


What We’re Looking For:


  • Proven experience as a Site Agent or similar role within the civil engineering sector.
  • Demonstrable experience in earthworks and highways projects.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate site teams.
  • Excellent knowledge of construction processes, HSE standards, and relevant legislation.
  • Flexibility to travel nationwide, with accommodation and expenses fully covered.
  • A driven professional seeking career progression into a Project Manager role.


Qualifications:


  • HNC/HND or degree in Civil Engineering or a related field (preferred).
  • SMSTS certification.
  • CSCS card.
  • First Aid at Work (advantageous).
