Job Title: Project Manager – Fixtures & Installations (Shop Fit-Out)

Location: Remote with travel to customer sites and Leeds office once a week/fortnight

Salary: £40-48k per annum plus £5k car allowance


About the Company:

We are partnering with a leading provider of commercial space transformation services with over 20 years of experience in the fast-paced retail sector. They offer comprehensive services, from store construction and fixture procurement to mechanical & electrical installations. Recognized among the UK’s fastest-growing private companies, they are looking for a Fixtures and Installations PM.


About the Role:

You'll be working on Fixtures and Installations projects for one of the company's large Supermarket clients. Projects will be all over the country but mainly in the Midlands and the South. There's going to be some travel required to get out onto customers sites and that could mean 2-3 nights a week away from home at it's peak. Head office is near Leeds and they like to get the team together every other week or so.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Profitability: Deliver budget margins while identifying opportunities to improve profitability. Ensure Cost Value Reconciliations (CVRs) are accurate and submitted on time.
  • Leadership: Lead and develop project teams, fostering a positive and productive working environment.
  • Health & Safety: Ensure all site activities comply with company Health & Safety policies and standards.
  • Quality: Strive for a “right first time” approach, delivering defect-free handovers.
  • Innovation: Drive continuous improvement in construction methods, technical solutions, and processes.


Skills & Experience Required:

  • Proven experience managing commercial construction or retail projects
  • Ability to develop client briefs into actionable project plans
  • Strong contract administration and cost management skills
  • Experience in programming and phasing of complex projects
  • Proficiency in project meeting management and reporting
  • Strong commercial acumen with experience managing profit plans and CVRs
  • Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to manage time effectively and work under pressure
