The Role

As a Junior Business Development Executive, you’ll join a dynamic sales team dedicated to driving growth in public sector accounts. This role offers a balanced mix of proactive sales, client relationship building, and administrative tasks to keep you engaged. You’ll have the chance to work with experts in technology solutions, helping to shape client propositions and develop long-term partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sales & Campaign Development: Identify, respond to, and develop sales opportunities within new public sector accounts.
  • Lead Management: Act on generated leads quickly, seizing low-hanging opportunities.
  • Partnership Engagement: Work closely with vendors and partners to enhance sales growth and drive margin contribution.
  • Client-Centric Solutions: Collaborate with solution experts to craft tailored propositions that meet specific client needs.
  • Relationship Building: Cultivate and maintain long-term relationships with clients across various levels.


Skills & Experience Needed

  • Tech & Service Knowledge: Ability to confidently discuss technology services relevant to the public sector.
  • Public Sector Interest: Proven interest or experience in the public sector, with an understanding of key strategies.
  • Sales Savvy: Experience in sales, ideally within technology or services, with a successful track record of product-focused sales.
  • Commercial Awareness: Strong understanding of the supply chain and its commercial implications.
