BI Developer required for an established Specialty Insurance organisation. They have moved to utilising Power BI & Power Apps in the business so they are looking for a strong BI Developer to increase the Power BI capabilities, while developing & supporting design standards for the current BI platform.

You will be responsible for the design & implementation of eye-catching Power BI reports and development of SSRS & ETL processes. You will join a highly collaborative team, working alongside the infrastrastructure, architecture & development teams to deliver improved BI solutions across the business.

This is the ideal opportunity for a MSBI individual who is looking to develop & add value to the BI offerings of a leading Financial Services organisation.

Responsibillities:

  • Support BI platform, including Power BI, SRSS and ETL processes
  • Design of Power BI reports and establishment of Power BI best practices
  • Collaborate with Infrastructure, Development, Architecure teams
  • Responsible for company documentation to ensure solution delivery
  • Understanding of Data warehousing and the implementation of Data marts and models

Requirements:

  • Experienced in creating Power BI reports & applications
  • Understanding of ETL tools and Processes
  • Strong TSQL coding ability
  • Knowledge of MS stack, including SSIS, SSRS, SSAS and Dax
  • Financial Services experience is required. London/Lloyd's Market insurance experience is highly desirable
