TECHNICAL PRODUCT OWNER


Technical Product Owner URGENTLY required for a largenetworking program within the telecom environment. The Product Owner will work in a large,complex SAFe Agile Train environment. The Product Owner will define and prioritizeuser storiesin theBacklogand align with the Product Manager to ensure Features & Capabilities are correctly prioritized. It is essential the Product Owner has at least 2 practical years of SAFe Agile experience and ideally has a background in building anddesigning IT infrastructure and networks. You will be responsible to translate the business vision, goals, and stakeholders feedback into clearly defined requirements and backlog for the teams and provide business reasoning for each item.


PRODUCT OWNER RESPONSIBILITIES:



  • The Technical Product Owner will define Agile Team Stories and prioritize thebacklog
  • The Product Owner will create and own the Technical Product Backlog requirements and specifications. These act as the key artefacts to build and deliver the new Public Cloud solutions
  • You will create and document Epics, Capabilitys, Features and User Storys (low-level development items) needed to build new Public Cloud solutions
  • The Product Owner will create and document technical requirements and specifications to build Public Cloud
  • You will act as a key member of the delivery team to translate and deliver business requirements into technical requirements and build new Public Cloud Resell solutions.
  • As a delivery team member, you will provide technical requirements and specifications, resource requirements, time requirements, and budget requirements to the delivery teams of Public Cloud Resell.
  • You will create and document the technical runway and requirements required to deliver against the Public Cloud, Low Latency Applications, and Location Analytics roadmap
  • Participate in relevant agile ceremonies when required (SI planning, PI planning, scrum meetings, sprint retrospective)
  • Align technology roadmaps with other areas of the business to ensure program alignment and socialize and gain commitments on our technology needs where appropriate
  • Engage with program teams to define and agree with MVP feature scope
  • Engage with program stakeholders to ensure they are kept up to date and aligned with the decisions and priorities made within our roadmap and backlog
  • Aligns with Product Manager to ensureFeatures & Capabilities are prioritizedcorrectly
  • Accountable together with the team on the product from definition to result.
  • Maintains a focus on quality, balancing the need for new features, and addressing any technical debt or issues that have been uncovered
  • Works with IT counterparts and business partners to understand their new/changing business goals, how they are being implemented through business processes work on translating the needs into IT requirements.
  • Responsible for communicating with stakeholders across the board with Review meetings, including other POs, business managers, and the development team to make sure the goals are clear and the vision is aligned with business objectives;



REQUIREMENTS:


  • 6+ years ofTechnicalProduct Ownershipexperience
  • Network & messaging expertise is a must have
  • PracticalSAFe experienceand working in aSAFe-Agile environment
  • You must have experience in working on large technicalCloud & Networking programs, particularly involvingMicrosoft Azure and AWS
  • Strong technical background as you should be able to oversee what the technical team does
  • Experience in the Telecommunication sector in Product, Marketing, and/or commercial roles/ BSc, would be required
  • Communication skills - from product specifications to ticket raising, to stakeholder presentations.
  • Good team player with social skills that enable collaboration closely and easily with core team members and stakeholders
  • Organized with strong analytical skills, results-driven, and delivery-focused
  • Desirable SAFe certified
