About Solar Options for Schools

We are a social impact driven company with a mission to help society reach net zero faster by providing solar power and energy education to schools.

We believe that schools have a role to pay to help us decarbonise faster. So, we fund energy and climate education opportunities using the sun. To that end, we help fund, develop, install and maintain solar PV systems on schools, and provide energy and carbon education to students, teachers, and non-teaching staff.

We currently look after over two hundred solar schools internationally and are working to encourage thousands more.

Our vision is to develop software, funding and education to enable up to 2,000 schools a week to go solar globally. Our website and mobile app allow students to learn about energy, carbon, and climate change and they can even develop a solar project themselves on their own schools.
