As we embark on a transformative journey, we are looking for a Finance Transformation Lead to play a pivotal role in redefining our core financial processes and ensuring our systems and structures are built for the future.
Role Overview:
The Finance Transformation Lead will be at the forefront of redesigning and digitising our core accounting and transactional processes. This role is crucial in guiding the organisation through a transformation that will optimise our finance function, enhance efficiency, and align with our strategic goals. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that our finance systems and processes are not only efficient and effective but also future-proof.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process Redesign: Lead the end-to-end redesign of core accounting and transactional processes to streamline operations and enhance accuracy and efficiency.
- ERP & Accounting System Digitisation: Oversee the implementation and integration of an advanced ERP & Accounting system, ensuring it meets the evolving needs of the business.
- Detail-Oriented Execution: Get into the nitty-gritty of the finance function, advising on crucial elements such as organisational structure, chart of accounts, and nominal codes.
- Strategic Planning: Define and set the future state of the finance function, aligning with the company's strategic objectives and long-term vision.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with key stakeholders across the organisation, including IT, operations, and senior leadership, to ensure seamless transformation and adoption of new processes.
- Change Management: Drive change management initiatives to ensure smooth transition to new processes and systems, with a focus on training, support, and communication.
- Performance Monitoring: Establish metrics and KPIs to monitor the success of the transformation initiatives and ensure continuous improvement.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Proven experience in finance transformation, with a track record of successfully leading similar projects.
- Strong understanding of core accounting and transactional processes.
- Expertise in ERP & Accounting systems implementation and optimisation.
- Ability to operate at both a strategic and detailed level, with a hands-on approach to problem-solving.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to influence and lead cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify areas for improvement and drive change.
- A background in finance, accounting, or related field, with relevant professional qualifications (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA) .
