Purpose of the role:

We are in search of an ambitious, dynamic and results-focussed marketing professional to join us on a 12-month fixed term maternity cover basis. Reporting directly to the Group Head of Marketing, this is a diverse role that will support the business in its B2B and B2B2C marketing activities, with a primary focus on driving brand awareness, lead generation, and in-store sales conversion. This is an exciting time to join the Belfield Group as we implement our transformation programme, with several key marketing initiatives planned during the next 12 months - including a full review of our luxury consumer brand - giving the successful candidate plenty of opportunities to develop their skills and broaden their experience.


Key Duties & Responsibilities: (Non-exhaustive)

  • Create and execute strategic multi-channel marketing campaigns to build brand awareness, engagement, and drive consumer lead generation
  • Develop and implement trade marketing plans to strengthen retailer engagement, in-store branding, POS collateral, and the overall customer experience
  • Manage product launch plans to ensure all agreed marketing deliverables - brand assets, POS collateral, communications, etc. - are delivered on time and in full
  • Manage and maintain digital channels (socials, website, and email), creating engaging content that increases brand awareness and drives leads, reporting performance against agreed KPIs
  • Manage trade exhibition marketing plans aligning with sales and NPD teams to ensure an efficient process and successful sell-in to trade
  • Support with brand strategy development and execution to ensure brands remain relevant and strong in the market
  • Act as brand guardian, ensuring consistent brand identity across all brand communication, in-store branded galleries, and third-party communication
  • Support key account sales activities as needed to help win and retain business
  • Collaborate with external agencies and partners to development branded websites, improving UX/UI and increasing traffic and conversion

Person, Skills & Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years marketing experience within a B2B or preferably B2B2C environment (retail sector and/or furniture industry experience an advantage)
  • Proven experience developing and executing omni-channel marketing campaigns - from ideation to execution to evaluation - driving brand awareness and lead generation (B2B & B2C)
  • High level of digital marketing experience managing key digital channels; social media (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram) website (Shopify experience advantageous) and email
  • Excellent copywriting skills and exceptional attention to detail, with the ability to create engaging content
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent presentation skills, both in creation and delivery
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with all internal and external stakeholders
  • Enthusiastic and self-motivated with a can-do attitude
  • Excellent IT skills (Microsoft 365, Adobe, etc)
  • Degree in marketing or related field (Preferred)
  • Full UK Driving License


Salary

£27,500 to £30,000 depending on experience


Contract Length

12 months Maternity Cover


Working Hours

39 Hours per week, Monday to Friday (Flexibility to these hours will be offered)
