Tenancy Enforcement Officer - Up to £23.34ph - March 2025

We're looking to recruit an experienced Tenancy Enforcement Officer until the end of March 2025 on behalf of a well-established housing association based in Merseyside, with hourly rates up to £23.34 per hour and hybrid working.
Your new role
You'll be responsible for managing a caseload of serious, complex and persistent ASB, hate crime, domestic violence and other tenancy breach cases, where early interventions have failed and further action is required to enforce tenancy conditions. You'll be working in partnership with colleagues in the Neighbourhoods team to protect customers and communities from the effects of anti-social behaviour and nuisance, providing them with support and advice in relation to cases, and identifying cases that require escalation to be considered for legal intervention.

  • Preparing and serving legal documentation including notices, and drafting witness, victim and perpetrator statements
  • Representing the organisation in court and giving evidence
  • Ensuring witnesses are provided with appropriate support throughout investigations, including preparing them to attend and present evidence in court
  • Liaise with and make referrals to external agencies where appropriate
  • Keep up to date, accurate and thorough records of the housing management system in relation to casework
What you'll need to succeed

  • Previous experience in an ASB management/enforcement role
  • Experience of preparing witness statements and legal documentation for court proceedings
  • Experience of giving evidence in court
  • Up-to-date knowledge of relevant legal frameworks, national agenda and current policy issues in the housing sector
What you'll get in return
  • Weekly pay
  • Hourly rates up to £23.34ph Umbrella or £21.22 PAYE
  • Ongoing temp contract until end of March 2025
