Business Development Executive – Lead Generation

Our client is one of the UK’s leading workplace technology companies, providing industry leading solutions which are focused on achieving greater automation, productivity and efficiency for their SME and Enterprise level clients.
This newly created role is office based and sits within their highly successful software division, focused on generating new leads from both existing accounts and prospective clients, providing their UK-wide territory sales team with pre-qualified sales opportunities.
The successful candidate will be an experienced lead generation professional with aspirations of carving out a long-term career path and who’ll relish the opportunity to:
- Generate new business software sales leads via outbound sales calls to new, existing, and lapsed clients
- Act as the point of contact for inbound sales enquiries
- Qualify the client’s requirements and arrange a suitable follow-up appointment for the territory sales team
- Work with existing clients to provide effective cross-sell, up-sell opportunities
- Effectively record all lead generation activity and provide accurate weekly reporting of the client pipeline and progressive outcomes
- Attend sales and product training sessions and courses as required
The successful applicant will likely possess the following skills, experience and personal attributes:
- A successful lead generation track record gained within an RPA, SaaS or Business Process Automation Software reseller environment
- Highly motivated, positive, enthusiastic and results focused
- Exceptional all-round communication skills and well-versed at dealing with clients to executive level
- A collaborative and consultative approach coupled with the ability to work autonomously to deliver results
- Experience of Salesforce CRM (or equivalent) and the ability to deliver accurate, clear, and concise forecasting and reporting
- Ambitious with a strong desire to carve out a progressive and long-term career path
