Salary: £50k - £60k per annum

The Lead Mechanical Design Engineer is a pivotal role within our client’s design team, this role focuses on delivering high-quality components in line with project requirements and departmental KPIs.


Lead Mechanical Engineer Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and development of various automotive components, ensuring adherence to NMIP processes and KPIs.

• Collaborate extensively across the supply chain to optimise teamwork and project efficiency.

• Maintain detailed project plans to ensure timely delivery of current and future project milestones.

• Challenge and refine existing processes to enhance departmental effectiveness.

• Escalate issues and risks as necessary through the reporting structure.

• Undertake additional projects and duties as assigned by management.


Lead Mechanical Engineer Requirements:

• MEng or BEng in an Engineering discipline.

• Experienced as a senior design engineer with 2d & 3d in depth knowledge.

• Strong technical proficiency with meticulous attention to detail.

• Experience with Creo and SolidWorks is required.

• Ability to collaborate effectively and progressively work independently.

• Demonstrated commitment to delivering results on time and to specifications.


Hours of Work: Monday to Thursday 8am-5pm, Friday 8am – 1pm (flexible)
