About the role:


In this role, you’ll oversee multiple privately-owned retail assets across the UK, making pivotal decisions in the management of shopping centres. You’ll identify opportunities to boost cash flow and asset value, lead initiatives to maximize value, and oversee the full property management process with the support of in-house PM resources. We would love to see candidates with an entrepreneurial and creative flair from a similar background in retail asset management.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Lead, manage, and execute all leasing and lease events, with a focus on reconfiguration and space optimization.
  • Deliver precise, impactful reporting and presentations, providing asset management expertise to drive revenue growth.
  • Oversee P&L and Service Charge budgets, while partnering with Facilities Management for efficient site operations.
  • Implement strategies for asset enhancement and value-add initiatives.
  • Support due diligence for acquisitions, disposals, and tender responses.


What We’re Looking For:


  • Experience: Solid Asset Management working experience built on a strong foundation of Property Management (ideally 2-3+ years PQE).
  • Skills: Advanced MS Office (Excel, Visio), expert report writing & presentation skills.
  • Stakeholder skills: Proficient understanding of how to best manage expectations, and deal with demanding clients.
  • Attributes: Strong initiative, team leadership, resilience, and attention to detail.
  • Mindset: Commercial awareness (industry knowledge and competitor analysis), creativity in asset repurposing, and an entrepreneurial approach to achieving results.
