Job Description
We are seeking an Family Paralegal with a strong background in domestic abuse and child arrangements. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of family law, empathy for clients in difficult situations, and the ability to manage complex cases efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist Solicitors in managing cases involving domestic abuse and child arrangements.
- Conduct legal research and draft documents such as pleadings, motions, and agreements.
- Coordinate with clients, witnesses, and experts to gather necessary information.
- Prepare case files and maintain meticulous records.
- Support Solicitors during hearings and trials.
- Liaise with social services, law enforcement, and other relevant agencies.
- Provide clients with clear and compassionate communication throughout their case.
About You
- Minimum of 6 months as a family paralegal with a focus on domestic abuse and child arrangements.
- Strong understanding of family law and court procedures.
- Excellent research, drafting, and organizational skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and empathy.
- Proficiency in legal software and case management systems.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
