Domestic Abuse and Child Arrangements Paralegal

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Family Law Specialist to join our team at LR Legal Recruitment. As a Family Paralegal with a strong background in domestic abuse and child arrangements, you will play a crucial role in supporting our solicitors in managing complex cases.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist solicitors in managing cases involving domestic abuse and child arrangements, ensuring the highest level of professionalism and empathy.
- Conduct thorough legal research and draft high-quality documents, including pleadings, motions, and agreements.
- Coordinate with clients, witnesses, and experts to gather essential information, maintaining confidentiality and discretion.
- Prepare and maintain accurate case files, ensuring meticulous records and efficient case management.
- Support solicitors during hearings and trials, providing expert analysis and guidance.
- Liaise with social services, law enforcement, and other relevant agencies to ensure seamless case progression.
- Provide clients with clear, compassionate, and timely communication, addressing their concerns and needs.
Requirements
- Minimum of 6 months of experience as a family paralegal with a focus on domestic abuse and child arrangements.
- Strong understanding of family law and court procedures, with the ability to apply this knowledge in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent research, drafting, and organizational skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and empathy, maintaining confidentiality at all times.
- Proficiency in legal software and case management systems, with the ability to adapt to new technologies.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues.
- Ability to work under pressure, meeting deadlines and prioritizing tasks effectively.
