About the Role


As a National Account Manager, you’ll be at the forefront of our sales strategy. You'll:


  • Drive New Business: Identify and secure new business opportunities from SMEs to large corporations.
  • Manage Existing Accounts: Develop and maintain strong relationships with our current clients, ensuring ongoing satisfaction and growth.
  • Generate Leads: Take charge of your own lead generation while also following up on leads from our sales support team.
  • Innovate Solutions: Recommend tailored solutions to meet diverse customer needs.


️ Key Responsibilities


  • Hit Targets: Meet and exceed targets for new business revenue, customer meetings, and sales KPIs.
  • Communicate Effectively: Maintain regular contact with key decision-makers.
  • Forecasting: Provide monthly sales forecasts and reports.
  • Sales Development: Drive sales of new product ranges, negotiate contracts, and support promotional plans.
  • Customer Care: Ensure our customers receive top-notch service, managing their needs and resolving inquiries swiftly.


What We're Looking For


  • Experience: 5+ years in field sales with a proven track record of winning new business.
  • Expertise: Familiarity with selling to Health and Safety professionals and experience in PPE sales.
  • Skills: Strong interpersonal skills, excellent time management, and the ability to work independently.
  • Drive: A proactive attitude with the ability to influence key decision-makers.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to travel and spend some time away from home.

  • Sales Targets: Achieve and surpass monthly and annual sales goals.
  • Account Management: Grow your account portfolio and ensure customers remain within credit terms.
  • Professionalism: Respond promptly to all communications and maintain positive interactions with the team.
