Are you passionate about ensuring successful game releases and updates? Our client, a leading player in the video game industry, is seeking a talented and experienced Release Manager to join their dynamic team. As a Release Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with game release and update requirements, as well as designing and implementing efficient release pipelines and processes.


Responsibilities:

• Be the point of contact for platform support and release management, with a focus on Quest, Sony, and Steam platforms.

• Collaborate with Production, Engineering, and Marketing to plan and prepare DLC content for release, ensuring timeliness and accuracy.

• Conduct risk analyses and make recommendations on submission strategies.

• Coordinate with PMM/Production to plan and execute digital content offers and releases.

• Ensure that all required metadata for digital content is correctly received, including promotional graphics, videos, and text for online stores.


Qualifications:

• Previous experience in video game development, preferably in a Release Management/Live Ops role.

• Familiarity with platform submission requirements, with a focus on Steam and Playstation.

• Preferred experience working with cross-functional stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.

• Excellent written and communication skills.

As a Release Manager, you will be a key player in fostering collaboration and ensuring successful game releases. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to effectively plan release schedules and milestones, advocating for validation of compliance and compatibility requirements throughout the development process. Additionally, you will oversee the end-to-end release process, from build preparation and testing to deployment and post-launch monitoring.
