An opportunity has arisen for a procurement professional to join a transport company in the West Midlands. As Procurement Officer, you’ll play a key role in keeping everything running smoothly, from securing critical services to driving procurement strategies that deliver real value.
The role
- Lead procurement efforts, ensuring that contracts are aligned with operational goals
- Collaborate with functional leads to develop a forward-looking procurement plan
- Manage the Contracts Library, ensuring all contracts are correctly assigned
- Build relationships with third-party vendors and negotiating contracts
- Produce a monthly procurement report that highlights risks and plans for the future
