We’re on the lookout for an Account Manager to join our sponsorship sales team, working primarily within the sport of tennis. Located in London, we're a dedicated team passionate about revolutionising the sports industry.

Primary Responsibilities:


Reporting to the Brand Partnerships Director, the primary role for the Account Manager is to serve as the day-to-day point of contact for tennis clients, managing relationship dynamics and ensuring satisfaction across all engagement levels.


As part of this role, the Account Manager will be adept at producing expertly tailored sponsorship sales presentations, while overseeing the accurate upkeep of data, rights schedules and valuations to support the sponsorship sales effort.


Prepare and lead productive client meetings, coordinating resources to maximize value and outcomes.


Delivering accurate reports to both rights holder (through the upkeep and management of a CRM) and providing fast and accurate data to brand sponsors will be a key part of this role. To do this effectively, the Account Manager will manage external agency relationships with media evaluation agencies and suppliers of data and analytics.


The Account Manager will have a good understanding of brand marketing and sponsorship and be able to apply this industry expertise to create compelling sponsorship propositions that deliver significant value back to both rights holder and sponsor.


Use market research and evaluation tactics to produce advisory report that address commercial briefs set by our brand and rights holder clients, while being able to present and deal to rigorous questioning from senior stakeholders.


Secondary responsibilities:


Take ownership of marketing collateral for Rocket Sports that delivers a coherent and powerful message to the clients and brands we will work with.


Contribute towards delivering revenue targets through new sponsorship acquisition.


Lead outreach initiatives to attract new brand clients, demonstrating the synergy and potential ROI of a sponsorship with Rocket Sports.


Ensure a robust hand-over is delivered every time a new sponsor is brought on board, with the affiliated athlete or rights holder.

Qualifications:

  • 4 years of experience in account management, with a preference for those with a background in sports marketing or agency side.
