Your new role:
As a Finance Officer, you will be responsible for assisting with the management of the financial operations of the organisation. Your duties will include:
Preparing financial statementsConducting ad hoc financial analysisEnsure the maintenance of the finance system and ensuring that all data inputted is accurate and completed in a timely mannerPreparing payment runsBank reconciliationsReconciliations of supplier statementsEnsuring compliance with financial regulations. You will work closely with various departments and be expected to build strong relationships with external stakeholders.
What You’ll Need:
- A degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Qualified in or studying for a professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, AAT) is desired but not essential
- Proven experience in a finance role, ideally within the transport or public sector.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.
