About the Opportunity:

We are seeking an experienced Financial Regulatory Reporting Business Analyst to join one of our global Investment Banking client’s project for compliance with US/EU/UK regulations, including EMIR, SFTR, Sec 10C-1A, MIFID and other relevant regulations. The successful candidate will be work on implementation projects for standardizing the regulatory reporting process for ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of submissions to regulatory authorities, and maintaining a strong understanding of regulatory requirements and industry best practices.


Role specific Responsibilities

  • Taking lead involvement in Operating Model Development related to EMIR, MIFIR/MIFID, SFTR, Sec 10C-1A and other regulatory reporting requirements
  • Analyse the regulatory or reporting needs, perform gap analysis and identify the impact on business operations
  • Identify critical data elements and granularity for reporting needs
  • Designing a future state model that supports the client’s regulatory reporting requirements
  • Work with the Regulatory Programme Manager and other internal teams to deliver a regulatory roadmap
  • Create Business Requirements Document (BRD) and Functional Requirements Documents (FRD) to guide programme implementation
  • Perform data and functional testing to ensure compliance with business requirements
  • Engage with various stakeholders, including traders, risk managers, and IT teams, to ensure that business analyst requirements are captured and met.

  • Manage and analyze large datasets to identify trends, anomalies, and areas for improvement, and develop reporting dashboards and metrics to measure performance and compliance.
