Senior Quantity Surveyor
Major Project experience required across, Power, High voltage, Building Services.
We're a specialist lV/hV electrical group, providing smart engineering solutions in the power sector across the UK.
With expertise in design, installation, testing, and commissioning of high and low voltage power projects, we’re committed to exceeding our customers’ expectations.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Dive into the details of new contracts, working directly with clients to understand project costs thoroughly.
- Keep a close eye on project expenses, ensuring everything from staff costs to materials stay on track and within budget.
- Share key financial insights at project meetings and help keep the team informed.
- Manage the change control process, issuing early warnings and notices when costs shift. You’ll play a key role in keeping things running smoothly.
- Document any cost changes, explain why they happened, and collaborate with clients to resolve issues quickly.
- Handle monthly payment applications, verify incoming payment certificates, and assist with invoicing and any late payment matters.
- Prepare and present a detailed commercial report every four weeks, keeping senior management updated on project finances.
