-- MISSION --

We are looking for a hunter profile to join the team as the Key Account Manager (BD) for End User Utilities. This role oversees the comprehensive customer value proposition within the Utilities and critical infrastructure market segment in the UK & Ireland. It involves direct engagement with end users and focuses on promoting and selling project-based solutions of value-added services in access control for end users across various sectors:


Distribution: Electricity, Gas, Water

Resources: Oil and Gas, Power, Solar, Wind

Telecom: Infrastructure, Operators

Public Transportation: Airports, Ports, Railways, Road


-- RESPONSIBILITIES --

  • Develop and implement effective account plans, achieving key account (KA) targets, revenue, and margin goals.
  • Manage customer offer performance and enhance logistic services.
  • Foster strong relationships with key decision-makers, focusing on future projects, planned RFQs, and competitive threats.
  • Advise customers on new technology and business opportunities.
  • Influence and manage internal multi-disciplinary teams to ensure top customer satisfaction and embed our company culture.
  • Establish credibility and gain access to high-level management within customer organisations.
  • Identify and capitalise on business opportunities, balancing risks and spotting opportunities to maximise value.
  • Create and pursue opportunities through strategic contacts, building and maintaining executive-level relationships.
  • Drive a customer-centric approach within the organisation, ensuring comprehensive customer awareness across all relevant entities.
  • Generate innovative ideas to maximise value and encourage creativity in others.
  • Assess and develop viable and breakthrough propositions, developing a strategic business plan for customers integrated with marketing efforts.


-- REQUIREMENTS --

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience selling solutions (including software and hardware), tailored to the clients;
  • A hunter profile with strong BD skills;
  • Previous experience managing projects from tender to order award.
  • Native or bilingual English (C2 level)
  • 3 years of experience with the end users within the utilities segment: energy, transportation, telecommunications, industry, etc. (non-exclusive)
  • A previous experience within access control or similar (CCTV, intruder, alarm, etc.) is a plus but not essential.
