FruitionIT are currently hiring for a Senior IT Support Analyst to join the expanding Service Desk team of a top-quartile Syndicate of the Lloyds of London insurance market; the client, who are based out of central London, have hired into multiple tech teams so far in 2024 during a heavy investment into some of the latest tech.

In an expansion of their support team they're now looking to hire a Senior IT Support Analyst to deliver a top-tier, customer focused and proactive support function, managing incident and service requests, adhering to KPIs and SLAs. Within the clients small team, the Senior Support Analyst will both support the more junior Service Desk positions, as well as inform on overall strategy and function of the Service Desk, working closely with the Service Desk Manager.

Main responsibilities of the role:

  • Liaising with business users to resolve complex incidents & requests
  • Inform on process recommendation to the Service Desk Manager
  • Ensure that daily IT checks are fulfilled
  • Ensure & enforce cross-team collaboration & effective communication

You will also have the opportunity to work on:

  • The management of small IT projects, such as hardware refreshes & rollouts, as well as application testing
  • Transitioning of new larger scale projects/services into BaU support
  • Management of IT assets and hardware

Essential skills experiences:

  • Proven experience on at least a 2nd line of IT Support
  • Technical experience of a Microsoft stack

(Windows, Azure, Intune, 365, Teams, SharePoint, Exchange)

  • Experience within insurance or finance industries
  • Be driven and organised within a service desk environment, acting as a point of confidence, helping & training more junior members of the team
  • Strong analytic aptitude
