An exciting opportunity has come available for a Site Reliability Engineer to join an exciting engineering business working on a major government project in Didcot.
This is an initial 6-month fixed term contract with the strong possibility of extension.
We are looking for a technical, problem-solving engineer that can play a vital role in reliability in the devices development. You will be well-versed in Network Management, Software Deployment, documentation and DevOps.
Key Responsibilities and Skills:
- Design, implement and manage robust networks
- Manage Docker containers, arrange CI/CD pipelines
- Manage network-connected devices
- Have a strong understanding of networking technologies and embedded devices
- Be experienced with Python Scripting
- Experience working with Linux systems
Due to the nature of the business and project, this 6-month FTC will initially be based onsite in Didcot with the scope for further hybrid working down the line.
In return, we can offer a salary of up to £85,000 (pro rata) depending on experience and other benefits including unlimited paid time off.
