Buying Assistant

Are you a recent graduate ready to start your career in buying? Join a dynamic team as a Buying Assistant, supporting the Lead Homewares Buyer with all aspects of day-to-day buying activities. This role provides a fantastic opportunity to work closely with suppliers, collaborate with marketing, and help launch an exciting range of homewares to a loyal customer base.
Role Highlights:
- Assist in ordering, logging, and returning samples from suppliers
- Organise samples for selections, range reviews, and photoshoots
- Ensure accurate sample tracking on selection spreadsheets
- Handle sample invoices, process them, and raise debit notes when needed
What We’re Looking For:
- A relevant degree (or equivalent experience)
- An interest in textiles, homewares or fashion buying
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Previous office-based administrative experience
- Confident and clear phone manner
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Full driving licence and access to your own car
