Job Description:

Future Build Recruitment are seeking an experienced and driven Preconstruction Manager to join a leading contractor specialising in RC Frame, Groundworks, and Demolition. This pivotal role involves managing the preconstruction phase of various high-profile projects, ensuring meticulous planning, programming, and coordination to achieve successful project outcomes. They are looking for someone to start as soon as possible.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the preconstruction phase for projects, focusing on RC Frame, Groundworks, and Demolition.
  • Develop, manage, and monitor project programmes, ensuring key milestones are achieved.
  • Collaborate with design, estimating, and project teams to ensure cohesive and comprehensive project planning.
  • Ensure preconstruction activities align with company standards, client requirements, and regulatory obligations.
  • Oversee risk management, value engineering, and technical reviews during the preconstruction phase.
  • Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to coordinate schedules and ensure project readiness.


Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Experience in a similar preconstruction management role, or a Project Manager looking to step up.
  • Background in engineering (preferred), with strong knowledge of construction processes.
  • Proficiency in project programming tools (Asta is desirable but not mandatory).
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to foresee risks and implement effective solutions.


Qualifications:

  • Degree or equivalent qualification in construction management, civil engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of managing preconstruction phases.
  • Proficiency in programming tools and software (e.g., Asta or similar).
