Position Overview:
The High Net-Worth Underwriter will be responsible for evaluating and underwriting insurance policies for their high net-worth clients. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and a deep understanding of the unique risks associated with high-value assets. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in underwriting high net-worth insurance policies and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and underwrite insurance applications for high net-worth individuals, ensuring compliance with company guidelines and standards.
- · Assess risks and determine appropriate coverage and pricing for high-value homes, vehicles, fine art, jewellery, and other personal assets.
- Collaborate with brokers, agents, and clients to gather necessary information and provide tailored insurance solutions.
- Conduct thorough risk assessments and loss prevention evaluations.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, brokers, and internal stakeholders.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory changes.
- Provide expert advice and guidance on underwriting practices and risk management strategies.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in high net-worth underwriting or broking.
- In-depth knowledge of high net-worth insurance products and markets.
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in underwriting software and tools.
