Job Summary
Transforming radiology by bringing to market a flat-panel Xray solution which allows fast 3D portable imaging. As we approach our regulatory milestones in the USA and UK, we are looking for a Commercial Leader to take ownership of defining and managing our go-to-market strategies in three business verticals: Biomedical Imaging, Veterinary and Non-Destructive Evaluation. This position will sit on the Senior Leadership Team with full responsibility for successfully launching new products, ensuring market adoption with profitable and scalable strategies.
Main duties and responsibilities
- Develop and deliver global go-to-market strategies that lead to sustainable growth in revenue across our product streams in line with the Company’s strategy.
- Ownership for Creating and implementing commercial strategies for New Product Launches in the US and UK industries in the following fields: Orthopaedics, Veterinary and Non-Destructive Evaluation
- Hiring and managing a small team of Territory Managers / Business Development Managers across the US and UK
- Create and manage both direct and indirect sales/service channels for optimal market coverage and penetration.
- Create and manage the reimbursement strategy for relevant products (e.g. in medical markets).
- Lead the sales team, motivating, developing and inspiring them to consistently achieve and exceed sales goals.
- Own the company’s CRM, monitoring performance of commercial activities using CRM data and report against key metrics to the SLT and Board.
- Partner with the Marketing department to develop marketing collateral appropriate to targeted customer segmentation.
- Collaborate with product management and development teams to understand customer requirements and translate our products into customer success strategies.
- Produce regular global sales budgets and forecasts, ensuring strong communication with the Finance function.
- Monitor market trends and competitor products and activities to stay ahead of industry developments.
- Review customer activity and anticipate consumer needs to continuously improve customer satisfaction levels.
- Maintain a safe working environment, follow all protocols to ensure compliance with company / regulatory standards.
Qualifications
- Significant experience of leading a commercial/sales function within radiology or medical devices.
- Skills
- Entrepreneurial, commercial, and strategic mindset.
- Expert knowledge of creating and building robust channel partner relationships and OEM strategies.
- Excellent leadership skills with a focus on building interpersonal relationships, and cultivating customer satisfaction.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Excellent organisation skills and ability to optimise use of CRMs (ideally Salesforce) and other relevant technologies.
- Desirable: In-depth knowledge of radiology imaging technology, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of industry trends and advancements.
- In-depth knowledge of the application of effective selling strategies and methodologies.
- Resourceful with the ability to find solutions to challenges in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
- Strong presentation and influencing skills applicable across diverse audiences, including markets, customers, board members, channel partners, and OEMs.
Experience
- Proven track record of developing and executing go-to-market strategies in the US/UK for medical device or imaging products.
- Bringing new technologies and products to market in at least one of the following 3 areas: Biomedical imaging, veterinary or non-destructive evaluation.
- Sales/Commercial management across direct and indirect channels, effectively managing relationships with key partners and clients.
- Extensive experience across multiple major business verticals.
- Demonstrated success in sales roles at an executive level, with a focus on medical device leadership.
- Successful track record of sales forecasting, consistently achieving quarterly and annual sales goals.
