Role Overview: We are currently recruiting a Shipping Export Administrator for a Maternity Cover 12 month contract, at our client's Ashton-under-Lynn site. This crucial role involves ensuring timely and cost-effective shipment processes while maintaining accurate documentation and meeting regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate and timely shipping documentation, considering export/import customs requirements.
- Ensure compliance with packaging, customs, and customer-specific regulations.
- Monitor and coordinate all outstanding orders for timely shipment and consolidation.
- Manage export shipments and documentation on the 3PL system to avoid delays.
- Cost shipments for freight invoicing and accrual purposes.
- Assist in managing stock movements and obtaining carrier quotes.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Generate pick sheets, delivery notes, and relevant paperwork accurately.
- Coordinate warehouse activities for on-time delivery.
- Investigate and rectify stock anomalies and manage sample dispatch.
- Process returns efficiently, both physically and on SAP.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment following health and safety standards.
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work under pressure with attention to detail.
- Strong team player with organizational and prioritisation skills.
- Experience with SAP and Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of 'Incoterms' selling and buying tools.
- Experience of UK Customs Export documentation
