We are working with a global private financial firm, who has been focused on delivering superior results for long-term investors using high-conviction portfolios, rigorous research and individual accountability.


The Role:

The Social Media and Brand Content Communications Lead drives the strategy, overarching planning, and coordination of social media initiatives, processes, measurement, and brand experience across Europe and Asia.


As the voice of the brand, this role involves creating captivating, client-centric and audience specific strategies that enhance our brand-building, product marketing, and sales efforts, taking the brand content and social media strategy across Europe and Asia to new heights.


The Social Media and Brand Content Communications Lead will work closely with the US-based social media team, accessing and leveraging central resources for content creation and platform analytics. In addition will partner with Content, PR, Corp Comms, Media and CMMs on content plans and integrated campaigns to help achieve our brand and marketing objectives and to create a holistic client experience.


To be successful, the incumbent serves as a key connection with the US based teams ensuring alignment on strategy, plan execution, governance and processes.


Core Responsibilities:


Strategic Planning and Integration Across Functions:

  • Lead the long-term social channel roadmap across Europe and Asia
  • Establish a strategic approach to EA social media content that aligns with the global strategy but is adapted to the regional business needs, culture, trends, and social platforms.
  • Partner and collaborate with key teams and people across the company to identify content needs, gaps, and opportunities to enhance brand visibility and thought leadership in Europe & Asia
  • Maintains strong communication with internal and external media teams and understand how to influence relevant stakeholders to ensure a robust EA social media programme and pipeline.
  • Understands handoffs between delivery steps, assists teams in coordinating and delivery
  • Provide regular reporting and communications on social media initiatives, campaigns, and performance to key marketing groups and the broader business.
  • Flawlessly coordinates the management of EA senior leadership accounts.


Channel Experience:

  • Collaborate closely with the marketing, media, content and digital teams on the ideation and execution of integrated campaigns that drive engagement, reputation and brand awareness through social channels
  • Create a test-and-learn philosophy to drive digital and creative performance across social, paid, organic, and more
  • Champion and lead the creation of best-in-class content assets that are on-brand and optimised for social media and associated user journeys. Evolve, develop, and deploy new templates.
  • Coordinate content creation and curation using a creative and broad approach to formats (e.g. blog, video, podcast, graphic, data visualisation), ensuring consistency in messaging, visuals, and tone of voice.


Operations, Governance, Optimisation

  • Manages and oversees overall social program governance, process, and operations. This includes leading best practices and settings and streamlining and simplifying operating procedures (from planning to approval to publishing).
  • Implementing and simplifying a workflow and calendaring tool – a single source of truth for social activities.
  • Review and update social media guidelines, procedures, and training to reflect the latest industry standards and best practices.
  • Analyse EA content performance metrics and make data-driven recommendations for optimizing content strategy and improving the effectiveness of content initiatives. Ensure initiatives are aligned to objectives and meeting KPIs.
  • Create a reporting dashboard using shared resources.
  • Conduct regular benchmarking exercises to evaluate the companies performance against industry standards


Requirements:

  • 8+ years of marketing experience in asset management, including Europe and Asia markets.
  • Demonstrable track record of leading and project-managing integrated marketing and brand campaigns in global organizational settings
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory and compliance guidelines
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills
  • Experience in brand management, content creation and assets production.
  • Proficiency in social media management tools and analytics platforms
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and optimize campaign performance.
  • A proactive approach to staying updated on industry trends, algorithm changes, and best practices.
