About the Senior Commercial Broker


My client is an established fintech broker with a whole of market offering allowing business customers to truly assess their financial lending options. After trading in the market for over 10 years they have an established lender panel ranging from Tier 1 Banks, Alternative Lenders & Fintech’s alongside an extensive introducer base of deals inc Aggregating platforms, master brokers & individual networks.


After a significant round of funding, they are looking to build out their Property & Structured Finance desk with an experienced broker. This is a key area of growth for the company – creating an exciting opportunity for someone to be successful, potential scale a team below them and earn good commission along the way


We are looking for an independent proven commercial broker with experience of looking at a range of property deals and structured finance deals over £350,000.


You will be provided with resource internally so you can focus on relationship building & closing deals aswell as being supplied with a smooth flow of leads to support your own introducer base.



As the Senior Commercial Broker your responsibilities and duties will include:


Work and build relationships with current & new business clients to assess property and structured finance deals

Work with lenders on the panel to ensure you fully understand the criteria and are presenting them with top quality deals

Create a brand and reputation for my client in the property & structured finance market

Follow deal from start to end inc understanding of the credit documentation and complexity of the case ( financial options available to them)



Essential Skills and Competencies of the Senior Commercial Broker is:


Proven success in a commercial broker role for minimum of 3 years

Strong credit skills, ability to present a credit paper to lender

Flexible to work hybrid in office & independently to build client relationships

Happy to be an individual contributor but also add value to the wider business with your knowledge of commercial lending

Ideally scope within commercial mortgages, investment & development finance

Ability to bring your own deals into the business as well as converting those provided
