Employee Engagement & Communications Manager – Temporary Contract


Merrifield Consultants are delighted to be partnering with a leading professional membership body within the finance and accounting sector to recruit an experienced Employee Engagement & Communications Manager.


This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about enhancing internal communications and boosting employee engagement during a period of exciting transformation.


Location: Hybrid Working (2 days in the office, Central London)

Duration: 4-5 Months

Salary: £49,993 per annum (paid the hourly equivalent)

Start Date: ASAP


Key Responsibilities:

Internal Communications:

  • Develop and execute an internal communications strategy.
  • Ensure corporate performance is communicated effectively across the organisation.
  • Manage and update the intranet and communication channels.
  • Support leadership visibility with scripts, presentations, and coaching.


Employee Engagement:

  • Own and manage the annual engagement survey, ensuring high response rates and clear communication of results.
  • Support the creation of engagement action plans and monitor progress.
  • Coordinate employee recognition initiatives and manage organisation-wide events.
  • Drive employee engagement through creative approaches and data-driven insights.
  • Support D&I and Wellbeing strategies through communication and events.
