About the Client
Our client is a highly regarded management consultancy, ranked as one of Forbes’ top 50 firms, with a strong focus on data-led cost transformation. Known for their work across the industrials sectors, they have received prestigious industry awards. Recently acquired by a global engineering powerhouse and are now seeking a Partner to lead the growth and expansion of their Industrial sector practice.
What You’ll Do
As the Partner for the Industrial sector, you will have full responsibility for the sector's development, revenue, and profitability. You will work closely with teams across the consultancy and their broader partner network to deliver value-driven solutions to clients. Specifically, you will:
- Develop Value Propositions that harness the consultancy’s and partner's capabilities, creating a unique selling point within the Industrial sector.
- Build C-Suite Relationships with key clients, focusing on account management and expanding client engagement to drive customer lifetime value and optimize the conversion of opportunities into long-term projects.
- Generate New Opportunities through proactive networking, client relationship management, and leadership in sales and program conversion efforts.
- Create Industry-Specific Insights and marketing strategies to drive business development efforts.
- Identify Opportunities for High-Value Solutions that address client needs with technology-driven products and services, enhancing the consultancy's value proposition.
- Become a Recognized Thought Leader within the industry, producing insightful material, driving engagement with industry figures, and maintaining a strong network of potential clients.
- Drive Sector Development Plans, engaging with decision-makers to deliver on current and future revenue targets.
- Lead Product and Service Deployment, ensuring on-time delivery and maximizing outcomes for clients while maintaining profitability for the consultancy.
- Manage Practice Development, building a high-performing senior team with industry expertise and delivering annual revenues of £5M-£7M.
- Develop Leadership and Succession Plans within the sector team, ensuring ongoing professional development and performance management.
- Introduce New Technology Solutions to enhance service offerings and meet client demands.
- Manage Sector P&L, maximizing contribution to revenue and profit and overseeing cash collection as necessary.
What You’ll Need
- Proven sales and business development experience within a consulting/services environment.
- At least 10+ years of consulting experience or senior transformation roles within the Industrial sector.
- Strong knowledge of the Industrial sectors, industry best practices, and market trends.
- Established C-suite network within the UK Industrial market.
- A continuous learning mindset, demonstrating evidence of on-going professional development.
- Excellent communication skills and emotional intelligence.
- Commercial gravitas and the ability to think strategically and innovate.
- Experience with managing large, complex projects and achieving significant revenue targets.
