The Role: Technical Event Producer


We are seeking a talented and experienced Technical Event Producer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be at the forefront of producing face-to-face, hybrid, and virtual events. You will come from a technical background, having worked your way up through the ranks in either audio or video. Ideal Candidate


To be successful in this role, you will currently be working as a Technical Event Producer within the industry, with extensive experience in event production across face-to-face, hybrid, and virtual formats. You will have experience with pharmaceutical and healthcare meetings and events. You will be client-focused, excel at collaborating on projects with our team, and thrive in a fast-paced environment managing multiple projects simultaneously.


Key Responsibilities


  • Produce Events: Plan, produce, and execute events and meetings of all kinds. Manage technical colleagues and production partners to ensure successful delivery by identifying key deadlines and deliverables.
  • Technical Management for Virtual Events: Manage the technical elements required to operate a virtual event, such as event platforms, vision mixing software, capture hardware, control devices, PTZ cameras, etc.
  • Technical Management for Hybrid/Face-to-Face Events: Manage the technical elements required to operate hybrid and face-to-face events, including audio, video, lighting, power, IT, staging/rigging, etc. Sometimes, you might also operate the equipment when the need arises.
  • Client Collaboration: Work with clients and internal teams to scope and shape the production from concept to delivery. Guide and onboard presenters/hosts from rehearsals through to the live event.
  • Project Management: Create production orders, develop project management timelines, and follow internal processes. Manage and book relevant logistics, including accommodation, shipping, and travel.
  • Risk Management: Implement policies related to risk management (RAMS), insurance, sustainability, and contingency planning.
  • Client Communication: Lead and attend client calls to discuss current and new projects, provide updates, and debriefs.
  • Budget Management: Develop project proposals and budgets, and manage expenses.
  • Equipment Planning: Plan and advise equipment kit lists in accordance with studio/warehouse stock levels. Ensure all equipment is tested to the Remote Solutions ‘Show Ready’ promise.
  • Service Booking: Book relevant services when required from partner suppliers.
  • Innovation: Be proactive in finding new solutions for our clients. Innovation is key.
  • Feedback and Reporting: Report back at the end of each project any shortfalls in working practices and possible enhancements.


Must-Have Skills and Experience


  • 3+ years of technical production experience working across all the AV disciplines.
  • Passionate about technology and innovation across the various AV specialties.
  • Client-focused – nurturing relationships is key to our company.
  • Highly organised and detail-oriented with the ability to multitask and keep to timelines.
  • Confident in IT systems including Office 365, project management tools, rental management software, etc.
  • Clean, valid UK driving licence and happy to drive vans in Europe.


Desirable Skills


  • Experience in our core sectors: pharmaceutical, healthcare, and agencies.
  • Understanding of audio-visual production processes and technical knowledge.
  • Project management experience with a focus on delivering exceptional client experiences.
  • Experience working in the US market and understanding of its business dynamics.
  • Line management experience of small teams.
  • An understanding of media creation and how to deal with creative requests.
