Are you a seasoned programme manager with a passion for sustainable transport? Step into a high-impact role where you'll lead a portfolio of transformative projects, championing active travel across a vibrant and diverse region.


Your Role:

This role will see you overseeing a substantial £60m programme, delivering a step change in active travel provision. You’ll be at the helm of a dynamic team and responsible for coordinating around 50 transport projects. This will involve working in a dynamic cross-partner environment and having high levels of engagement with key stakeholders.


What You’ll Do:

  • Lead and Inspire: Guide a multi-disciplinary team, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation in sustainable transport.
  • Drive Success: Ensure the budget is effectively managed, with financial accountability for an annual spend of £20m.
  • Strategic Collaboration: Build and maintain strategic relationships with local authorities, funding bodies, and other key stakeholders
  • Governance and Assurance: Oversee programme governance, risk management, and strategic reporting, ensuring high standards in project delivery.
