Buckden Partners is working with a leading UK real estate investment management company who are searching for an Asset Manager/ Surveyor/ Property Manager to join their team and take responsibility for the Asset Management of their Northern UK Residential Portfolios.


Role Duties:

  • Taking responsibility for the performance of the Groups’ assets from an Asset Management perspective.
  • Visit and inspect residential homes for rent to assess the condition and ensure they meet all applicable safety and regulatory standards.
  • Able to travel to various locations nationwide and undertake site inspections at least 3 days a week.
  • Taking an analytical approach to managing granular PRS portfolios, working with analysts in the business to monitor and drive portfolio performance.
  • Working with the stakeholders to ensure accurate, detailed, and timely delivery of all Asset Management reporting to key JV partners.
  • Act as an intermediary between the Development Manager, internal Structuring Team, Property Manager, and external JV partners to ensure monthly handovers of units are dealt with promptly.
  • Work with the Development Manager to monitor and manage employer’s agent on all development sites.
  • Travelling to sites and inspection units and street scenes.


Required skills, knowledge, and experience:

  • Detailed and extensive knowledge of portfolio Asset Management (Social Housing asset managers/surveyors, AssocRICS surveyors, Lender property development monitor, Letting agent property managers/inspector, Employers Agent surveyors)
  • Proven track record of experience in residential asset management
  • Organised, process driven individual able to co-ordinate resources both externally & externally to manage granular residential portfolios successfully from delivery to stabilisation and to portfolio exit as required.
  • Able to produce high quality, accurate reporting for external investors and JV partners.
  • An understanding of development processes, project monitoring, construction documents, professional appointments, and delivery of projects.
