An Aylesbury based Event and Retail Design & Build Agency is on the hunt for an experienced Production Manager to join the workshop team. This is a key hire that will focus on production aspects of projects in the workshop, with external suppliers, and through onsite installation phases.
The right candidate will have come from a similar background, most likely will have experience either hands on in a workshop environment, if not will at least have transferable experience to a company that fabricates scenery for events, retail, experiential, or similar industries.
Day to Day role
- Oversee production aspects from workshop phases to onsite installations
- Ensure the smooth and speedy delivery of projects
- Act as the Boots on the Ground member of the team, reporting progress of projects to the wider team
- Project accounting such as quotes, invoices, budget control
- Create relevant H&S documentation for projects
- Select, source and order bespoke materials from suppliers, striving to get the best deal
- Site management of installation phase of projects, including co-ordinating freelancers, sub contractors and fulltime colleagues
Key Skills
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Onsite experience covering Site Management, H&S, managing teams
- Understanding of technical drawings & plans
- Able to proactively identify any potential risks/problems and reactively deal with them
