Job Title: Electrical Crane Engineer


Human Engineering is seeking a skilled and motivated Electrical Crane Engineer to join our client's team.


The role is field-based, covering England in the nuclear industry. You will be responsible for the service, maintenance, and repair of overhead cranes in a variety of industrial and commercial settings. This is an excellent opportunity for a self-driven engineer who enjoys working in different environments.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform electrical maintenance, service, and repairs on gantry cranes.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues on cranes and associated equipment.
  • Conduct regular safety inspections to ensure all cranes meet required standards.
  • Work in diverse settings including warehouses, manufacturing plants, and construction sites.
  • Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients about work completed or any additional requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and procedures.


Requirements:

  • Qualified in electrical engineering (NVQ, City & Guilds, or equivalent).
  • Ability to obtain SC Clearance.
  • Experience with crane systems, including electrical fault finding and repairs.
  • Strong knowledge of relevant safety standards and regulations.
  • Ability to work independently and manage a schedule efficiently.
  • Full UK driving license.
  • Willingness to travel across the UK.
