Job Summary:

Searching for an experienced semiconductor Principal Engineer Analogue IC Design with direct experience, and track record, of bringing automotive products through the NPI development process from definition to production release, including all quality, functional safety and qualification related analysis and documentation.


Responsibilities:

  • The Principal Analogue Design engineer is a leading member of the design team.
  • Taking the technical lead role on significant chip developments.
  • Making key architectural decision ensuring involvement of those who need to be aware.
  • Delivering new and innovative solutions.
  • Collaborating with the wider engineering team (product definition, validation, applications and test engineering) to ensure product success.
  • Supporting and mentoring more junior engineers.
  • Setting the standard for communicating work in a clear and professional manner to the design team.


Qualification:

  • Several years of relevant industry experience in Analogue IC design.
  • Must have deep and intuitive understanding of CMOS analogue circuit design practice.
  • Previous experience as the technical lead on chip developments.
  • Experience of automotive development process and Functional Safety.
  • RF (10GHz +) analogue circuit design experience.
  • Expert user of Cadence tools (IC6) and Calibre.
  • Fluent spoken and written English.
