The Career Opportunity:


As the MEP Cost Management Director, you will play a vital role in the continued growth and success of our client’s UK and European divisions. With a focus on mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems, you will bring your expertise to data centre and pharmaceutical projects, driving cost management, efficiency and client satisfaction.


Key responsibilities include:


  • Lead and grow the MEP cost management business across UK and Europe with a main focus on data centre clients and other large MEP driven client sectors
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants and contractors
  • Help grow the business providing strategic direction and leadership to the MEP cost management business unit. Aid the board in identifying potential acquisitions.
  • Deliver accurate cost estimates, cost plans and cost reporting where needed on key projects where needed
  • Identify potential cost risks and implement effective mitigation strategies
  • Ensure projects are completed within budget, on schedule and to the highest quality standards
  • Collaborate with other directors to develop and implement business growth strategy


Essential requirements


  • Relevant professional qualifications ( RICS, CIBSE, ect.)
  • Experience working within a consultancy, end client or developer in the construction industry with a major focus on MEP.
  • Strong experience in MEP cost management, specifically within the data centre and pharmaceutical sectors
  • Proven track record of successful project delivery and client satisfaction
  • Demonstrated leadership and management skills
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work effectively within a remote team environment
