Playful Promises is a well regarded lingerie & swim business that like much of the retail industry has had a challenging time. We are implementing a considered turn around plan refocusing on profitability over other metrics.

We have our iconic brands and a thriving private label business where we work with world renowned brands and retailers to supply swim, lingerie and active to them.


Key Objectives of the Role:

  • Work closely with key members of team on forecasting sales and building out a strategy that is realistic but targets growth
  • Take ownership of the wholesale and digital concession business, including cultivating and nurturing existing and potential new relationships
  • Administrate wholesale orders and manage customer relationships
  • Act as a point of escalation for digital concession
  • Administrate wholesale and digital concession business including preparing site with products and product files
  • Work closely with the Commercial & Design Director to bring on new exclusive wholesale business as well as private label customers
  • Attend all planned shows, including the management of exhibiting, inviting current and new customers and show follow up
  • Keep up to date with market trends and gaps in the market that we could supply into
  • Monitor, track and evidence business activity working towards business set targets and KPIs
  • Be an advocate for our brilliant women focused brands and amazing range of products


Experience:

• Excel literate and if you've used MS Dynamics Business Central/Shopify to manage orders a bonus

• Good knowledge and contacts in the clothing sector and ideally in lingerie

• Have an outgoing personality with a positive mind set and the ability to use your own initiative
