We have an exciting project with one of our Global banking partners for an onsite role in Canary Wharf.


We re looking for a Strong Android Engineer to lead solution design and development from the front. Overseeing the workstreams in process, offer best practice improvements for architecture and code and act as a mentor for the team.


You have strong hands-on Android development skills including Android Architecture, MVVM, Kotlin, Java, Git, Full SDLC and Testing exp. With this and your experience of leading teams, you'll be the SME for the project, driving improvement in development, troubleshooting, streamlining process, avoiding bottlenecks, leading by example with clean, maintainable and repeatable code.


  • Android architecture patterns
  • MVVM, Use Cases and Clean Architecture
  • Kotlin and Java
  • Automated testing
  • Android app performance dimensions and tools
  • Version control tools such as Git
  • Hands-on practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability
  • Developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment using modern programming languages
  • Agile methodologies, Application Resiliency, and Security

Any experience of CI/CD automation, Cryptography, React Native and/or Expo would be a huge plus
