About the Role:

You will work with a great bunch of creative designers, reporting directly to the team’s Design Director. You will collaborate closely with the wider studio, the Creative Director, and the rest of the team. The core team are a size of 12-15 but expand as needed by leveraging our network of trusted freelance partners. Looking to bring in the right people for the right job at the right time, could this one be for you?

Skills & Requirements

  • Demonstrate an excellent level of design and creativity in your work
  • Appreciation for creativity, ideas, and design
  • Strong typography skills and a premium design aesthetic
  • Keen awareness of contemporary visual culture
  • Ability to interpret written and verbal briefs from clients and colleagues to produce design solutions with high visual impact
  • Proficient in InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop
  • Provide graphic design solutions for various products and activities, such as websites, advertising, books, magazines, posters, animations, product packaging, exhibitions, displays, corporate communications, and corporate identity
  • Positive, proactive attitude

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Mentor the studio team to develop skills and ensure they are used correctly and effectively
  • Represent the creative team in pitches, new business, client meetings, and events
  • Identify suitable new talent (permanent, supplier, or work experience)
  • Encourage creative innovation within the company and stay ahead of trends
  • Estimate the time required to complete projects and provide client quotes
  • Promote our culture and lead by example
  • Proactively present or pitch ideas and designs to prospective clients and the client services team
  • Demonstrate knowledge of applied brand strategy and proposition across creative routes and concepts
  • Specialize in brand strategy, branding, and design while also being able to work in digital, motion, print, and advertising campaigns
