As a MATERIALS INSPECTOR you will;

  • Be a key player in ensuring the materials required for our machine builds are correct and suitable for use.
  • This role will be a part of our supply chain team however, this role will gain exposure to working closely with our procurement, warehouse and operations teams.

CORE FUNCTIONS & OBLIGATIONS

  • Measure and report upon material compliance from both internal and external suppliers
  • Analyse and qualify Supplier dimensional reports and certification
  • Implement Monthly KPIs for Material Quality

CORE DELIVERABLES / OUTPUTS

Management of workloads and priorities in the Inspection Department.

Liaise with internal customers to determine workflow.

Report and assist in the investigation of non-conformances & corrective actions.

Maintenance of NCR system.

Statistical analysis and investigation of waste factors

Act as final quality gate to ensure only products which reach quality standards are passed to the final customer.

Assist in improvement and maintenance of Mpac Lamberts quality system.

Carry out mechanical engineering inspection of precision machined components.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR

Understanding of Engineering Drawings

Understand Measure Techniques and Variances

Experience with measuring Machined parts

A collaborative individual who acts as a team player & communicates well with others

A keen interest on quality compliance
