Petalite has created a revolutionary technology called SDC, which is a game-changer for DC fast charging, by dramatically improving product reliability, lifetime, and power scalability.

Petalite is now on the verge of transforming the EV charging industry, as it finalizes its product development and establishes strategic partnerships, before bringing its solutions to market for the first time in 2024.

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented HR Business Partner to join our team on a fixed-term basis of 6 months.

This will be a broad role, where you’ll work within the wider team to drive the overall HR strategy within a number of projects, as well as day to day tasks across administration, compliance and reporting and some recruitment support where required.

You will need to be proactive and commercially focussed to support the ongoing HR strategy for the remainder of 2024. We’re a busy team, and you can expect to get involved across a variety of initiatives, such as preparation for a large scale HR system implementation, employee engagement initiatives, policy and process updates, and supporting our Diversity, Equality and Inclusion plans.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
  • Considerable experience in a proactive, commercially focussed HR service role.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of HRIS systems and ATS platforms is a plus.

Petalite is based in Birmingham B7 4BA, parking is free, the role will be mostly on-site but could accommodate 1 working day at home per week. Working hours are 37.5 with core hours of 10am-4pm.
